First we layed leaves between two sheets of wax paper. Kelsey wanted to arrange them from large to small sizes! She loves glitter so she had a great time sprinkling red, gold and silver glitter on the leaves and wax paper! Papa even got in the act by working on the construction paper border! I ironed the wax paper and K and I glued the border on.........and this is the result! The sun wasn't shining much today so you can't see the colors very well, but I think it turned out pretty!
Kelsey also made a leaf rubbing picture. We still have lots of leaves left over so we may do this again next wk!

Sharyn :-)
Hello! Your blog is wonderful, Sharyn! I love the name you an your hubby came up with and I enjoyed reading your first posts!!! You're doing a fabulous job. . . it'll be so much fun to see what you are up to for a change! :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you do come to the Lenexa sale. . . I have lots to do to get ready for it! Today, instead of sewing, I attended the Holiday Mart in Overland Park. It was packed with shoppers and a wide variety of vendors.
I look forward to lots more great posts from your way!
